The Smallbone (Ruth’s work), Hale (work from painter Alison Hale) and Storekeeper Galleries next door to the Broadway Café in Reefton’s main street are still open, on weekends as well!

Call in and warm yourself by the coal fire then browse some of the ‘Coasts best art work.

Buller Arts community website launched

Finally a good idea has borne fruit: bullerarts.org.nz has 10 active members and more about to join. The site will collate information on Buller artists, their work and contact details in a current and user-friendly form.

The Smallbone Gallery, part of Alison Hale’s Gallery in Reefton, opened on Friday 12th. Ruth has tiles and other art works on show and for sale there.
